Farm for Schools! The Maryland State Department of Education announces new opportunities for farmers, and seeks input on ongoing projects. Come hear some exciting announcements, and share your feedback on how farmers can best be served by a new app that will simplify school procurement. The MSDE Office of School and Community Nutrition Programs is on a mission to cultivate a thriving and long-lasting farm-to-school community Statewide. We're looking for Maryland producers and aggregators to help make this dream a reality. Let's grow together! The Local Food Exchange (LFE) system aims to streamline and enhance the efficiency of local food procurement. From order placement to fulfillment, the system will facilitate the interaction between Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and producers, ensuring a seamless experience, effective inventory management (IM), and timely order fulfillment. We want to hear from you!
