On-Farm Educational Offerings - Gathering Springs Farm

In 2017, Pam Jones and Sarah Obuchowicz started Gathering Springs Farm on 13-acres in Middleburg, Virginia. With experience working for Potomac Vegetable Farms, one of the oldest diversified vegetable growers in the Washington DC area, and backgrounds in nutrition & athletics, Pam & Sarah wanted to create a place where the food was the means to the end of meeting people, creating community, and sharing in good health. Over the years the farm has grown from its early offerings of diversified vegetables through a CSA program to an opertion including bees, laying hens, sheep, an on-site honor system store, and most recently - art, pottery, cooking & educational experiences. 2026 marked the innagural year for four weeks of on-farm summer camp and span of event offerings on the farm continue to grow. 

Join Future Harvest for a lunch and learn with Sarah and Pam on their farm on October 17th. We'll hear how each enterprise decision was made, about additional insfrastucture and/or insruance, when the pair began having employees, and how they've balanced farming, family and more.

Our event will begin at 12pm and is FREE, rsvp required. 

Workshop participants are invited to stay after the FH event to for one of Gathering Springs' fall events: Block-Printed Tote Bags ($40) beginning at 2:00 pm. To add even more fun to your Saturday, make note that this is also Loudoun County's Fall Farm Tour weekend so you can also come early and stay late to check out other farms nearby!
